    This is a vintage used Nicholson flat, rectangular, parallel-sided, single cut hand file without handle, made in USA.  File embossed with "0" and "X-F".  File portion is 4.25" long x 1/2" wide, total length 6-1/8".  Was used in making of bassoon reeds.  Comes in box from Berdon Tools.
