US WW1 Black Uniform Button Lot. Various Sizes & Conditions. A Few Misc. MI464

Description

For sale here is a lot of mostly US WW1 Uniform Buttons.  The lot includes 19 total buttons.  There is a lot of 7 Overcoat size buttons on a wire.  These are all near mint, and strangely feature a red anodized back that is maker marked by N.S. Meyer New York.  The fronts of these look great, but the back does show some age.  There is a large overcoat button by City Button of New York that has lost most of it's finish.  There are two standard uniform jacket buttons in good condition one by Metal Specialties and the other by R Liebmann.  There are 4 small epaulette or cuff buttons 2 by RL of Newark and 2 by the Austin Co.  There are two Navy or USMC Uniform jacket buttons by Waterbury and an unmarked bakelite.  There is 1 unmarked screwback USMC or Navy epaullette button.  There is 1 WW1 German Uniform Jacket button.  There is also one workwear button with ring that appears to say FMK Own Make.  All in all, some good buttons, by some uncommon makers.  These will make a great addition to your collection.
