Perfect for camping, boating, emergency preparedness or keeping the heat out of the kitchen on a hot day.  The Haines Solar Cooker is affordable and very portable. It weighs only 1.7 pounds (0.7 kg.) and rolls up to fit in a yoga mat bag (included).  No need for charcoal or propane. It cooks like an oven; 200-325 F (90-160 C), but almost never burns food. It is healthy because cooking at a low temperature preserves nutrients. Potatoes and vegetables cook without water. It saves electricity and gas and will pasteurize water. Designed and assembled in the United States, the metalized polyester and polycarbonate materials should last 5 years in the sun.
The new cooker package weighs 1 pound 12 ounces.  It is 24 in. x 6 in. x 6 in.  It is round, with a girth of 17 inches.
The cooker and pot “kit” shipping weight is 5 pounds.  The carton is 24 in. x 12 in. x 7 in.
