    Description

    Advertising Good Luck Token, for Sunny Brook Whiskey.  A famous old brand, once claimed to be the largest producer of American Whiskey in the world, this also bears their iconic "spokesman" figure, The Inspector.  This dates from the post-1920 period of Prohibition, when the Sunny Brook distillery was owned by American Medicinal Spirits Company (AMS).  AMS purchased up many existing stocks of various distillers and stored them in consolidation warehouses, to be sold in the limited, tightly controlled "medicinal alcohol" market.  Oddly enough, the net effect of this was the survival of many old vintage bottlings at the end of Prohibition!  Classic Swastika Good Luck Token of the 1920's era, Choice Almost Uncirculated with just enough contact to scuff the gilt surface and darken some of the higher points.  Despite the obvious popularity of the product advertised, which suggests a reasonable number were made and distributed, the first that I can recall seeing personally.
    An equivalent condition example struck from a slightly different Obverse die sold in September, 2019 on ebay for 9+,
    likely a record (or near one) for any Swastika Good Luck token!!!
